I noticed yesterday that the new Burnley Up Through track has been cut in.
Of interest is:
1. no down track.
2. the Burnley Local and Through tracks no longer are linked until just
before the platforms at Flinders Street. This caused a real mess yesterday
when I tried to go into the city, trains queued from Richmond to Flinders
Street.
Any plans to reinstate these or are we doomed to 3 tracks for Burnley group
with no crossover facilities?
