Wasn't the Parramatta-Chatswood line supposed to end at St Leonards? (See new
CityRail map! The line is blue and the Liverpool-City via Bankstown/Regent's
Park Line is now puple-ish!)

Not sure how many platforms to be built for St Leonards, but as far as I
know, there are no plans to quadruple the section betw Nth Sydney &
Chatswood. Reasonable to assume that only 2 platforms will be req'd for
St Leonards.

In any case considerable earthworks would be req'd to convert Waverton &
Wollstonecraft stations and Bay Road Tunnel to four tracks for limited
gain.
