Old habits die hard I guess. A lot of spark drivers are now ex-Enfield guys.
Crossing lights are quite common at places like Hornsby and Gosford, where the
driver wishes to let other trains know that their train is clear of the
mainline. For those who do not know what crossing lights are, it is when the
marker light closest to the running line is made white, while the other marker
light is made red.
