I am not very familiar with Brisbane at all, but this proposal seems to
involve mainly on-street running, rather than railway style off-street track.
Is this true?

Are there any plans to extend the system further into the suburbs in the
future, or are there any heavy rail lines suitable (after re-guaging of
course) for future conversion such as has happened in Melbourne or Manchester
UK?
