Those 4 people must work very hard :)
Given that they perform the role of:
Train drivers
Train controllers
Train maintainers
Track maintainers
Signalmen
then there's all the administrative stuff that goes with it too....

We all know rail is the way to go with bulk transport as opposed to
trucking, but there's more employees than you have considered.
