I Bought the latest UBD street directory for Melbourne over Easter for
only $20 at Target. Thats $10 cheaper than Melways.
The reason I bought it was to look and see for any proposed statiosn and
railways lines. Well, plenty of proposed freeways but as far as I could
see no proposed railway lines.
In the proposed stations stakes however I found Petulious (I think that
was the name?) and Somerton both north of Broadmeadows. There was also
mention of a new Lyndhurst station not far from the old one.
Apart from the above the future looks pretty bleak for public transport
users.
