Fuelling the Patricks Train

Seen at Appleton Docks today; the Patricks container train, hauled by
CLF1 and CLF4.  Whilst that alone may not be so interesting, what WAS
interesting was that I saw CLF1, still coupled to CLF4, being fuelled
at a point just outside entry to the docks proper, by a Patricks
Stevedoring road tanker. Had/Would CLF4 be refuelled from the same
tanker or was it just that CLF1 was running a bit low? And why not at
Sth Dynon?

I don't recall SCT or TNT ever fuelling their trains from their own
tankers, so what is the difference that enables Patricks to fuel
there?
