Bylands is a rural location located a few kilometres south of Kilmore, which
is approx 70km north of Melbourne. As far as I am aware, the only transport to
Bylands is a V/Line bus service. Schedules, I do not know offhand.
The museum is definitely worth a visit if you can get there.
