When you are in the Blue Mountains visit the Zig Zag Railway. It is at
Clarence near Lithgow, about 45 mins from Leura.

It runs every day, steam hauled at weekends and public holidays,
vintage rail motor with guided site and depot tours during the week.
Site includes shop, picnic places, and bush walking track.

Weekend times: 10.30, 12.15, 2.00 & 3.30
Weekday times: 11.00, 1.00 & 3.00
Timetable assumes starting from Clarence, 10 km east of Lithgow.
If arriving by State Rail train at the Zig Zag stop, (tell the guard
when you board the train that you want to stop at Zig Zag and you will
be asked to move to the front or rear carriage as appropriate to
alight) The tourist railway times are 40 mins after the above times.
