Just out of interest, the 7km extension of the Eastern Freeway in Melbourne
has just opened, at a cost of $250 million, that's a cost of $35,000 per
metre!!!!

I'm sure that money would have gone a long way towards providing a railway
or light-rail line to Doncaster.
