I maintain both a Compuserve (CIS) account  and an Internet connection
account through enternet.com.au

The CIS newsgroups miss about 75% of the messages, but I think
enternet gets all/most messages..... certainly I don't ever recall a
missed message in a thread or a reply to a missing message.  They're
pretty fast across the Pacific as well.
