I've heard of a story of a ghost train that lurks around Emu Plains on late
cold rainy nights, its a 93 class No. 103 steam loco that was destroyed in a
fatal accident there in 1878. (near the cemetery past the prison farm).
Mortal train drivers have been scared shit less when they see a steam loco
hauling a freight train about to hit them head on, but then it disappears.
