The following link is to Chapter 5. Asset Acquisition Projects - 5.3 Public
Trading Enterprise Sector Projects
http://www.treasury.nsw.gov.au/bp01-02/bpframes.htm [pdf]
Pages 108 to 112 cover SRA & RIC expenditure.
Some very notable 01/02 starts are:
$5.6m Central turnback (complete 2001)
$10m Glenfield - Campbelltown headways (2001-2003) 25% $ 01/02
$2m Macdonaldtown stabling (2001) [more $ listed under RIC]
$12m Padstow turnback (2001-2003) 50% $ 01/02
The list is quite long.
Padstow at $12m sounds serious, includes a separate turnback platform? A
Padstow turnback + a Kingsgrove turnback and 4 tracks Turrella - Beverly Hills
will go a long way to improving East Hills line reliability.
Under RIC expenditure, what's the "ATP project" (2000-2002) $1.39m total?
Parramatta Rail Link gets $119m this year.
The Ministry of Transport narrative is at:
http://www.treasury.nsw.gov.au/bp01-02/bpframes.htm [pdf].
It contains interesting quotes such as:
"Diesel railcars will also be acquired to provide services to Broken Hill"
