Yes, at Far Kew.
One hell of a long way from the terminus at Mont Albert, let alone the
new one at Box Hill which will be used by power-hog Citadis trams.
What I was asking in general was whether the electrical system overall
is being upgraded for the Citadis and Combino power-hog trams, and
whether in particular there will be a new substation for the Box Hill
extension.
A new substation was built in 1977 for the extension of the Burwood line
which was extended a similar distance east from its old terminus as the
Box Hill extension.
