If Energy Australia were to cut power to say, Heathcote substation,
Electrical trouble would reroute power from Wollongong and Taren
Point, getting the power back on within seconds. Recently, during a
major power failure in the city, the entire CBD was blacked out, but
the underground stations were fully lit, and trains were running
because the routed power from Lithgow, Newcastle and Wollongong.
