I was told by a QR manager that a NATIONAL rail and coach travel pass is being
worked out between QR, Countrylink, McCafferty's coach lines, and even the West
Coast Railway. No date or fare for the pass was mentioned. Just be prepared for
an announcement. THe QR/McCafferty's road-rail pass, and the QR "Sunshine Rail
Pass", are both under review.
