According to an article in this month's Railway Digest, all market sidiings
have been disconnected from the main running lines.
Freightcorpse only ever seemed to be interested in running bulk trains of
the one commodity - coal, grain etc. The regional centres have lost their
once busy rail freight yards, so it all goes by road.

By contrast, QR still have livestock transport and don't turn away business
when it is offering.
