Missing station in Sydney

Talking with people on the weekend, someone mentioned going on a tunnel tour
in Sydney (old convict tunnels, train lines etc). He said that there is a
station dug out down there, but it isn't used ("Massive cavern, with train
lines). IIRC he said it was between the QVB and Hyde Park.
Anyone know what that is?
