Re: Ararat rail return at a crucial stage

seems to me you are writing to the wrong group.
Go join the Oil Companies and the others who want this Country to continue
feeding the Yankee Dolllar, and a few rich mens pockets.
Rail saves billions of Dollars on 30 inch thick pavement, which advantages
you only because you would rather sit on your own, in your gas gussler, than
socialising with the ordinary people like us, who would benifit the most by
cheap, clean, environmentally friendly modern Rail Transport. Australia
wastes millions on Road Transport
It is far cheaper to build a 50 vehicle train with added HP on the front,
which will have a usable life span of up to 30 years, or more, than 150 semi
trailers that average 5 or 6 years or less.
This same train runs on tracks wich cost about 25% [Modern Double Line, of
which none exists in Australia, now] of the cost of a duplicated freeway,
and use less than 20% of the fuel to move the same tonnages.
Politicians, easily controlled by Big Money, always choose the hip
pocket....theirs
misc.road transport
or Aus transport
should appreciate your propaganda!
cheers....NO! fuck off
