Walhalla Station building

As completion of the narrow gauge tourist line to Walhalla gets nearer, a
replica of the original station building (built to the original plans)has
been completed as part of a State Government funded training program at the
TAFE college at Moe (Vic). The main building has been prefabricated to roof
level and the roof framing will be attached when the structure is transported
to Walhalla within four weeks. Unfortunately, there is no verandah planned
just yet, as the verandah cantilever is still securely attached to the much
modified original Walhalla station building, relocated to Hartwell in the
late 1930s.
