If my bank balance stretched that far, then I would withdraw that much (almost
penniless student talking here).

Please enlighten me.  From an ATM that only dispenses $50 and $20 notes, how
do I withdraw $50 in smaller denominations?

Besides, just like banks,  State Rail seems to be unable to adapt to modern
conditions (eg 2 trains daily Sydney to Melbourne when there's got to be at
least 50 flights..)
