Reported on news networks tonight in Tasmania that farmers effected by
last week's fire are considering a class action against TasRail.
TasRail has not admitted liability for the fire that caused extensive
damage to grazing land and stock around the lower Midlands area.
TasRail do not deny that a train passed through the area prior to the
fire starting.
Some farmers have indicated that they would be prepared to settle out of
court.
