Brissy's First EMU 01   rolled out in 1979, so yea ur almost spot on hehe

trivial note.  EMU 01 was totally refurbished and reco's mechanically last year.
with some Visual additions to the Front / rar ends. (a cow scoop being one addition)
a few other oldies have since had the same treatment
