Hi there Folks,
The Union Limited was hauled by the GMAM Garratt built in Manchester, UK
in the early 1950's. There are presently a few Garratts based at
Voorbaai, Mossel Bay
GEA No 4023
GL No 2351 (Weight 211 tons)
GMAM No 4122 & 4128
George Railway Museum:
GB No 2166

This must be the largest concentration of operational Garratt
locomotives in the
world unless you can enlighten me.
