So true.  It was one Simon Crean now Deputy Fed ALP
Opposition Leader who was running the ACTU back in the
Hawke/Keating days and along with his little mate Kelty
introduced the "wages accord" which held back wage
rises just to make the bodgie & undertaker look good.
  
They were also instrumental in forcing the "super
union" whereby small unions who looked after their
members were gobbled up by the biggies who are now
going broke and morally bankrupt.
