Yes it was the former Electricity Commission of NSW.  While it had the habit
of gold plated standards, it did create one of the better electricity systems
in the world.  After this body was split up into separate "aggressive,
customer focused" energy companies in a competitive market place it had the
habit of making shit business deals, that defied common sense and logic.

Who was acting on behalf of the investment and funds managers and the american
power companies who seen the value of the NSW electricity system.

That is the sad thing.  Remember it is not your enemies that are going to
screw you but it is your so-called friends that will do it.  Also the biggest
problem is the unions are in bed so much with the labor party that they can't
see the forest for the trees.  For it is the labor party that screws unions.
