Unfortunately I know one or two railfans with this attitude, with one in
particular, but I'm not naming any names.

I'm going to be doing a safety awareness course soon through QR via
ARHS-Qld. This will result in me getting accreditation for
supervised/unsupervised access lineside, depending on which exam is done (I
wouldn't pass up the chance to do the latter exam). This is actually a
requirement for becoming a carriage attendant with ARHS-Qld, but I'm doing
it for two purposes: the one already explained, and also trackside
photography. Mind you, I'd prefer to have someone watching my back at all
times even if I did have unsupervised access. Anyway Maikha ... stay out of
areas that aren't normally public accessible.
