1st Steam train

1st steam train of Puffing Billy departed from Belgrave PB station at
1000am this morningheading for Lakeside, hauled by engine 7A. (any
steam train left before this train today?)
2nd train (1030)was a very long train double headed by ex-QR loco
DH59+12A with 16 carriages! Despite the length at Menzies Creek, the
whole
train were within the platform length. DH59 detached from the head,
round around the train and attached to the rear. the last 5 carriages
were detached at Menzies Creek and 12A solo left with 11 carriages
heading east.
DH59 then head back with those 5 empty carriages back to Belgrave.
