But unlike other states where recorded announcements are automatically
"cut-and-pasted" together in accordance with the screen info, the Plasma DVA
system appears to require messages to be cut-and-pasted manually by station
staff and assigned to each individual stopping pattern. What often happens
when non-scheduled stopping patterns occur is that the screen is correct,
but no announcement is made. The LED SPI system accommodated for this.
