The 22/05/00 CityRail weekday working timetable contains at least 3 G&T runs
(an alcoholic reference  sounds so much better than T/G sets).

The following three runs are for particular G&T sets (passenger sections
only):
Run 513A - 0422 ex Hornsby via Shore to Springwood (lays over at Valley
Heights);
Run 526A - 0707 ex Springwood to Hornsby via Shore;
Run 526B - 0928 ex Hornsby via Shore to Penrith;
Run 526C - 1136 ex Penrith to Berowra via Shore;
Run 526D - 1400 ex Berowra via Shore to Hornsby via Main;
Run 577A - 1658 ex Hornsby via Shore to Springwood;
Run 588A - 1917 ex Springwood to Hornsby via Shore (stable Hornsby C.S.).

Another is:
Starts exmpty at Penrith;
Run 501B - 0719 ex Emu Plains to Berowra via Shore;
Run 501C - 0921 ex Berowra via Shore to Hornsby via Main;
Run 501D - 1142 ex Hornsby via Main to Hornsby via Shore;
Run 263A - 1522 ex Hornsby via main to Wyong via Shore;
Run 276A - 1812 ex Wyong to Gosford (stable).

And another:
Run 209A - 0501 ex Gosford to Wyong
Run 214A - 0545 ex Wyong via Shore to Epping
Run 214B - 0811 Epping to North Sydney
Run 214C - 0912 North Sydney to Hornsby via Main
Run 214D - 1012 ex Hornsby via Main to Hornsby via Shore
Run 563A - 1540 ex Hornsby via Shore to Springwood
Run 564A - 1754 ex Springwood to Penrith (divides)

Whilst these runs are usually G&Ts I frequently observe them as 8 car T sets.
