Seen at various stations over the years:
"GENERAL WAITING ROOM" - where do the other ranks wait??
"WAITING ROOM TICKETS" - are they like platform tickets?
And, in China - "Exit for soft cushioned seat passengers"
Of course, one sign that changed its meaning rather dramatically was "NO WAY
TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED"!
