Wrong! They DON'T realise that.

Most (if not all) the new private operators are doing their level best to
abolish the multi-modal system and introduce their own tickets (just like
Sydney!).

They are also doing their best NOT to connect with other ("ompetitor's")
routes.

Real bad stuff.
