Re: CityRail commits to improved service

The Swiss and the Japanese are neck and neck. Both manage highly punctual
services (I've experienced Tokyo's).

They both have little problems - The Swiss, that they do not have as
frequent long distance, and the Japanese, who have a niggling little problem
with earthquakes which can severly disrupt the system (even if there is no
damage, inspection has to be done).

I'd say though, that the Japanese are ahead.
