The mayor of Whyalla says the Spencer Gulf is set for an economic
turnaround after OneSteel secured a major contract for the Alice Springs
to Darwin rail link. The company's Whyalla steelworks will supply
144,000 tonnes of rail for the project- a deal worth more than $100
million.
