Well, Ive answered my own question now. In the current Issue of Motive Power
they have a fleet list of opperators arround Australia.  It says that GNR
owns the following ex NSWGR locomotives

44 Class: 4468, 4471, 4477 and 4483 (not 98 as I previously claimed, 98 is
Austrac's)
45 Class: 4501, 4502, 4528 and 3532

Hope this helps other people as well as myself
