Boost for stations

Blue Mountains City Council voted to endorse a strategy and action plan
for the improvement of disabled access and commuter parking at railway
stations throughout the Blue Mountains at last Tuesday's council meeting
on March 27. The plan could see considerable benefits to Blue Mountains
rail commuters including the provision of additional parking facilities,
car park lighting, disabled access at selected stations, bicycle
facilities and the provision of a security system including closed
circuit television.
