No track beyond Bomadery which is the station for Nowra on the north side of
the Shoalhaven River. There used to be an extension of the track to the edge
of the river, there were some timber trestles over the creeks, but this was
removed many years ago.

Yes and Yes. The line is from Unanderra to Moss Vale and is used mainly by
grain trains, Tahmoor coal trains and NRC limestone trains (and the Cockatoo
Run passenger train from Port Kembla to Robertson). Other trains do use it
on occasions if there is trackwork and been a derailment on the south or
Illawarra.

> 3. and last How far is the line electified beyond Macathur and Dapto?

Past Macarthur as far as Glenlee mine but I don't think electric locos are
used any more or if it is still open. About 500 metres south of Dapto
station, just enough so they can shunt a V set (TGTITWBTW) from one
polatform to the other. The electrification to Kiama is supposedly to start
soon but I will believe it when I see it.
