Re: 4204 too heavy

Well obviously that information is confidential, but suffice to say over the
last twelve months considerable amounts of money have been spent on 3026-
ongoing restoration of axleboxes & brasses, 5367- new piston & valve rings,
4204- bogies overhauled, engine repairs, CPH24-Repaint, engine &
transmission repairs, PF901- presently being internally repainted & engine
overhaul, air conditioning overhauled, HPF953- both engines completely
overhauled, TCR862-internally repainted, gas system & appliances in buffet
restored, air conditioning system overhauled, 3237 complete retube & reflue,
superheater elements ($30000.00 worth will be shortly ordered)

And two full time fitters employed who are working on heritage items as well
as the 47's. Yes we presently only have one operating steam locomotive- but
there are plenty of other groups in a similar situation all of whom run
extensive tours programs, and have access to a much larger population base-
which just goes to show there is very little money in heritage operations.
