Truganini Road, Carnegie

Hi... I'm new to this group...

This issue may have been discussed before in relation to Melbourne's famed
(and infamous) Rosstown Railway.

Was there ever a line, or part of a line, that branched off south on the
city side of the Carnegie station along Toolambool Road, across Neerim Road,
and down Truganini Road where the number 67 tram now terminates?

The curves of the streets (refer Melway map 67 reference H4) and the
adjacent street named Railway Road suggests this.

It doesn't really appear to link up with the route of the Rosstown Railway
though.  Any thoughts?
