Re: $550m to speed up Vic rail services

the Bendigo line, because it will be single line beyond Sunbury.

Dickheads, then they say the problem with the Ballarat line is that it
is single line.

Ballarat line will get a major deviation at Bungree.

Traralgon line gets duplicated between Bunyip and Longwarry.

Lots of work in the suburban area:
Three track Aircraft - Laverton, Footscray - St.Albans

Flyovers at North Melbourne and South Kensington (I think the same one).

Better junctions on the Geelong line (Laverton, Altona and Newport).

I think Sunshine and Newport will get re-signalled (they were done in
1995 and 1997).

Everything else is all minor work, ie concrete sleepers, fences,
etc.....

In the report there are 4 stations on the Swan Hill line with almost no
passengers (so one would assume they get closed).

Re-signalling on all lines covers this.
