Surely you can't expect the poor rich people and trendies use public 
transport? I agree with banning street parking in this precinct however. 
Although the only problem then is that car parks get put up, then the poor 
richies and trendies have a faster road to travel on AND somewhere to park 
their car.

Personally, of the times I've been to Chappel Street I've caught public 
transport - then again I don't have a car (: Ever tried to drive down 
Chappel Street on a Saturday night? [I've been in a car then, but wasn't 
playing loud music]. Of a Saturday night, the worst part of that road is 
the section between Toorak Road and Commercial Road.

All night public transport on the weekends may help solve this 'issue' 
too... But we can't expect Jeff Bracks to do that now, can we?
