Tram Accident Monday 11/09

This is the first chance I have had to report this in the newsgroup.

Monday evening, 11/09/00, Z1.10 and a late model Ford Station Wagon had a
head on disagreement on Glenferrie Rd, near High St.

The Ford is written off, and Z1.10 sustained minimal panel damage on the
right hand side, just below the drivers area.

No major injuries, the driver of the car was taken to hospital with shock
(only a young female), a older female passenger (around 50) was taken to
hospital with fairly major back and neck injuries.

The tram driver was ok, and enjoyed several of my cigarettes.

About 10 trams were delayed, including the restaurant tram (939).

Accident happened approximately 2055, and was cleared totally by 2145.
