What is State Rail up to? (NSW)

For every morning this week, the last two carriages the 6 set coming from
Cronulla at 0832 have been inaccessible to the GP, due to school bookings
for the Paralympics.

If SR have these bookings why don't they add two to the six and give us an 8
carriage set to compensate. Us regular commuters are being squashed like
sardines into the remaining 4 carriages by the time the train reaches
Sutherland.

I'm at a loss to understand why, with media notifications from the various
Paralympic organisations, that ticket sales have exceeded expectations due
to unprecedented interest from the citizens of Sydney and School excursions,
that State Rail management haven't seen fit to increase the number of cars
to accommodate the growing pressure on the system.

It's great the kids are separated and all, but squashing 6 cars in to 4 is
unreasonable IMO.
