I have been in touch with Neville regarding the locos, they are 5506, 5510,
5511 and 5512 and are all rebuilds from ALCo 636s. There have already been
some parts removed and BHP plan to keep the bogies, which are still fitted
with the original ALCo traction motors, as spares for their Dash 8s. So
basically all that is worth buying are the engines and traction motors, and
it is planned to cut the locos up.
