I'm in manual.

What sort of speed do you suggest for night time use? As you would know,
sometimes a tripod isn't an option so last night I was using the concrete
ledge most times as a tripod.

I find it strange that at the same station at night six months ago with the
same type of film with a compact camera, I had no problems (and no tripod
either).....hence my confusion and question.
