Re: Worth upgrading from 95? - Is Windows ME for Me or You?

I have tried 2000pro and acually like the OS apart from two problems, the
main one is that it doesn't like I740 video cards and won't bloody go to
sleep with one, just keeps rejecting the feature and second is that being NT
based, it won't allow for too many games. I will give ME a try some day
although I have heard too many probs with it and Tezza is the only person I
have seen who likes it. How much hdd space does me require? If less than
1gb, good, I don't have to reformat the 20.5gb Win98se just to have ME fail
on me, takes toooooo long to reinstall everything, although every OS seems
to operate extremely stable on my machine finally and I aint changing
nothing 'till it is well outdated and I can walk down the street and buy a
2Ghz processor (or something in the current setup dies). Windows 2000 is
always quicker than 98 pretty much regardless of CPU speed if the ram in the
pc is 64mb or over.
