Re: Today (Sat) on 22 plat. Central

The intermediate train stops on platform 22 aren't unnecessary, they just
need to be able to operate in two modes. All lowered when platform 23 does
not have the road to the Illawarra Local and operable when platform 23 does
have the road to the IL. And there needs to be a way to advise the driver
of the different modes of operation.

If the low speed indication on approach to Lidcombe on the down suburban can
be replaced by caution (and a lowered trip) in certain circumstances and
ditto for Strathfield's down main departure (in both cases the next signal
is at danger), then the same can be done at platform 22.
