The last time I came across that train it was at Exeter, its Identifier was
XRW2.

x (special), R (Narromine), W (Wollongong)

The train apparatly picks up shunted loadings from Narromine for Wollongong,
on days that are required.

When I saw it, It was a single NR on a short train.
