Given that the current running time from Wodonga Loop to Albury
Station is now only 10 mins , even if trains ran at 115 km/h all the
way ,all you would save is about 5 minutes.
In other words the saving in time is simply not worth re locating the
line.
Also, in NSW anyway , the XPT and other SRA trains always get priority

over freights ,as SRA provides the train control,and is obviously
going to favor their own trains over anyone elses.
