It might be a perception, but as an example, I use deja to read the
group.  When I replied to this message there were 14 threads with new
messages, unread by me.  10 of these were clearly NSW based simply on
the subject header.  10 out of 14 being of a NSW topic is about my
perception of the overall group.

And of those 10, 9 seem to be something about Sydney and/or Cityrail.
